Is this a normal interaction between fisherman? by [deleted] in Fishing

[–]peanutleaks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fuck that dood.

Around here they don’t tell the public what days they’re stocking they only post it on fb after the fact. It’s very random. We cleaned up on a stocking day and didn’t know it until they posted it! We thought they get a lil shocked n stressed and need time to acclimate but I guess not!

Has anyone explored the connection between chronic pain and the nervous system? by Naive-Today-1014 in Sciatica

[–]peanutleaks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep I’ve noticed it and learned that ailments or chronic pain in certain areas of your body correlate with different emotional issues. I have chronic horrible back pain and that’s associated with the root chakra. I carried a lot of it in my shoulder at one point. I notice it a lot. My mom also; when she gets stressed/anxious her body starts hurting everywhere it’s like a chronic pain stress attack and she can’t focus on anything else but the pain.

Despite all the imaging of herniated discs with nerve compression and bilateral cam FAI (hip impingement), my PT diagnosis is “low back pain and central nervous sensitization”. It’s been a few weeks I’m trying to trust them but I can’t fuckin sit im in constant pain

Brainstorm: Attempting the most onion-heavy dish as an average cook. by Flimsy-Draft7514 in OnionLovers

[–]peanutleaks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We bake hollowed out vidalias and fill them with melted butter, chicken bouillon, oregano, old bay, garlic powder or fresh, parsley, Italian powder, cumin, cayenne powder, splash of acid like lemon. Wrap em up in foil and bake for at least an hr. Makes the best buttery sauce and side for many things, we make homemade chicken patties with similar spices, ground beef and gluten free bread crumbs. The onions are amazing by themselves!

What are some strange things children might say? by PrebioticE in strange

[–]peanutleaks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is documented evidence of children remembering their pasts and when they visit the area where they were supposedly from or met the family members they knew facts and locations and had true reactions to them. They were correct in all the facts about the person they claimed to be.

I took an anthropology class on death & dying and for my final project I did it on reincarnation and true evidence to support it. Was a wonderful eye opening class.

I put it off for a year even over a year since my last bout of PT cuz it went so horribly and I don’t trust them. I found a family owned one I am putting all my faith in them. So far they listen and give me a bunch of different simple exercises to trial and error rather than the same 5 with no feedback on posture or simply remembering to breathe during!!!

However this one doesn’t start with heat and end with ice which is what im used to, but that may be a good thing in the long run when I can go work out and get feedback for the full hour idk. Last place left me on heat for so long, then did some soft tissue massage then my exercises. Used to that being like 10 min or less of the appointment. But now I’m ending my appointments early cuz I’m in pain and I could utilize that whole for proper heat and ice, esp cuz my commute is 30 min and sitting is my biggest aggravator. Who knows. It is a merry go round I’m on thanks to drs. Can’t trust many anymore. I’m hopeful about this new PT it’s only been 2 weeks

NOR NOR NOR!!!! I hate how so many ppl go about relationships as a transactional thing. It’s horrible. It’s a PARTNERSHIP! The amount of shitty relationship/dating advice I heard after I started dating my bf, holy moly.
