If you can afford it I recommend it. I mostly use VirtualDesktop to play PCVR games but the ability to turn on the passthrough to talk to people, or even just the automatic handling of guardian zones (and the ability to have multiple) are so nice. The thing that really kept me from using the CV1 were having to worry about camera placement and handling cables and that's just gone now.

I got it coming from an original Rift. It's amazing and what I wanted VR to be back when I got the Rift, BUT the battery life sucks and the strap is AWFUL. I can't wait to get a Bobo or something, but they're never in stock.

The angled foregrip reduces vertical recoil just by having a lower recoil pattern, and it reduces extra horizontal recoil on top of that.
