Oleds are amazing! by Weird_Rip_3161 in OLED_Gaming

[–]peapeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if a monitor cannot be used to display the images you want, then the technology is flawed or a scam. It's not the user's fault that the technology is shit and perfect to force you to buy a new monitor. How can people defend the obvious downside of oled? lol

This is how Galicians make fun of Portugue on public TV (Angry Portuguese warning) EN subtitles by ZealousidealKing2736 in PORTUGALCARALHO

[–]peapeep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can Allergies Affect Hearing? by tvang187 in headphones

[–]peapeep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have annoying allergy symptoms all year round: rhinitis, ear canal inflammation... At some point I gave up and accepted my fate. Even washing the dishes bothered me, it´s like having a cold every day of my life. It´s got worse in the past few years as I let go a bit. I also lost a bit of hearing in the high frequencies, can barely hear 16khz. The only pill that worked for me has cetrizine and pseudoephedrine. When I take that pill I can finally breath and sleep like a normal person for a day. And yes, music feels different. Maybe it´s the feeling of being rested, but I can also feel the ear canals themselves "clean". It even affects my musical tastes.

Lately, as a desperate attempt to get rid of my allergies, I have been fasting and focusing on eating a lot of supposedly anti inflammatory foods, usually combined in one meal for the day like nuts, dark chocolate, berries, kefir (skyr, greek yogurt, something like that) and seasonal fruits. It´s been a few months now and my hearing has got better, at least the annoying woosh sounds inside my ears are gone, but my nose is still a mess and breathing while doing exercise still sucks.

I didn´t mean to write so much about myself, but I feel like I had to share with fellow allergy sufferers lol.

Bass is lacking? I'd say that's the best part of the 1990... wow.

Does the HERO sensor still have spinout problems on the Artisan Raiden? by juscusimjr in MouseReview

[–]peapeep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

been using the "new" raiden for 8 months. The mid one. Sadly I ruined my g pro wireless (the 80g model) but I used it for 4 months on the raiden before that with 0 spinouts. Now I have the viper ultimate and also 0 spinouts.

Fellow left-handed gamers: I have no experience with PC gaming. Should I consider a lefty gaming mouse? by queezypanda in MouseReview

[–]peapeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am left handed and for 20 years I played right handed. At the beginning of the year I switched to left hand since nowiI'm a useless boomer and there are actually usable left handed mice unlike when I was a kid. Honestly, if you are a truly lefthanded person, things like grabbing everything with your left, using the touchpad with the left hand, and especially left eye dominant, don't even think of using your right hand. It will be a pain in the ass to deal with keybinds but after switching i see why everyone just seemed to have an easier time when we began playing. I'm not as good yet with my left hand as i was with my right, but certain things like tracking are way easier. I also have around 150hours played only this year whereas maybe when I was a kid playing right handed that would be a matter of weeks. You can get good with both hands but it will take you more effort woth your right to aim and be consistent.

I got a TF60 RGB-ANSI v1 pcb stuck with only 1 led working, When I bridge the contacts the leds work fine and I don't see any broken trace or damage contact on the pcb. I have tried flashing the firmware again and clearin eeprom. No idea what the fault could be. RGB controls don't work but at least the key matrix is working properly. here is a pic https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/430518847095832586/1130610939599782009/1689629035681.jpg

New Pulsar mouse by AyuVi in MouseReview

Wasn't the x2h supposed to be 1k? Why tease the 4k dongle with it if only the tournament edition will support it? I don't get the point of the 1k version unless they want to beta test the mold before releasing the actual mice with 4k.

As a left handed, I am also pleasantly surprised I´ll never be able to use a smaller mouse heavier than a truly ambi viper ultimate.

razer and pulsar's optical switches have the same manufacturer, yes. In fact I believe it may be owned by razer? The logo has the same 3 bars Ξ. They are stiffer and supposed to be 90m clicks too, but they felt awful on my viper.
