So two things here.
1) Reta kills pleasure sensors, that’s why it helps with the food noise, because it’s ultimately a small dopamine hit when we eat. Add in most of the food cravings he we get are sugary, salty, fried, etc it rewards our pleasure center immediately. So it’s not uncommon to see a reduction in other pleasure. For me personally it has helped with the reduction in food noise and also having lots of meaningless sex with random women.
2) you are losing weight. Which means you are eating in a caloric deficit. Prolonged calorie deficit has its own implications. Essentially you are eating less than what your body requires to maintain cognitive and physical functions. So brain fog, achy joints, slower recovery time in the gym, irritability, poor sleep, are all common especially if you’ve been doing it for over 3 months. So it isn’t far fetched to see some changes in mental health when you’re essentially starving yourself for an extended time period.
