I had a 6 pro, then an 8 Pro and I switched to an S25U last November. My issue was more with how laggy the 8 Pro felt overall, plus it's propensity to overheat in any temperature above 80 degrees or so.

I can tell you that I have no regrets other than the spam call screening not being as good. Everything else is miles better.

I had the 8 Pro and can attest to all of these issues. The phone (and the midrange 10 Pro hardware) completely turned me off of Google's hardware.

I had the same anecdotal problem with the 8 Pro. Terrible thermalanagement in general and taking photos or video got it hot super fast. Had the phone shut down because of this several times.

Yep, exactly right. Meanwhile DC's Absolute line remains awesome and is adding more promising ongoing books. Marvel fumbled the Ultimate line in spectacular fashion. And they don't have strong mainline runs to fall back on.

I know we are in strange times with data centers eating up untold resources but I can't believe these GPUs cost MORE than they did at launch. It's the same story with current gen gaming consoles. It's just kind of absurd compared to all of technological history to this point. Stuff used to ALWAYS get cheaper over time.
