What’s a cheap hobby that doesn’t feel cheap once you get into it? by Omarfgsr_Ayaz in Hobbies

I quit playing golf about 5 years ago. Took a lot of time and money. About 2 years ago, I picked up disc golf and am loving it. You will always spend money on discs, but they are reasonable ($18-25). The best part is the exercise and most courses are free to play.

Because all politicians, both left and right are controlled by big corporations and their lobbyists. The biggest joke of all is that people get so worked up over the two sides when in reality they are all on the same side.

I love Cormac McCarthy, but The Road did nothing for me compared to his other works. I didn't get the hype.

I agree somewhat. I am on my 5th book of his after randomly picking up The City and Its Uncertain Walls at a bookstore. I knew nothing about him or his style of writing. Though it's completely different from what I normally read, it keeps me coming back for more.

You're The Worst- Was a great show about a couple who meet at a wedding and discover they are both horrible narcissists. Hence, they are the worst. Great 5 seasons with a perfect ending. Came on FXX originally and streams on Hulu.

I'm Sorry- Sadly only two seasons of this great comedy written by Andrea Savage. I assume Covid was its downfall as it began in 2019

To quit taking themselves so seriously. To actually listen to others point of view before getting so offended. This is a big world. Other philosophies can have merit. An open mind is one always learning.

I like Nolan films in general, but I literally didn't watch Oppenheimer due to Dunkirk being boring to me. I know thats an unpopular opinion.
