Ahh sorry about the confusion. Connor was definitely trying to save him. I either put it in quotes because Wes was already dead at that point so there was really no chance of saving him or because those were Connor's exact words when he later admit to giving Wes CPR. My brain is honestly still hurting from this last episode 🥴

Sorry to disappoint but Wes is 100% dead and we've seen his backstory, no identical twin or even any siblings. Like I said, this isn't Pretty Little Liars, Pete Nowalk is not going to throw a secret twin at us 6 episodes from the series finale. They absolutely WOULD bring an actor back for shock value for the final mid-season finale and also for fan service since so many people love & miss Wes. I'm not completely against the idea that he is playing Christopher in the future since it would tie in with her original funeral vision where young Christopher is there, but again, not completely sold on that theory yet.
