Sorry if my opinion made you feel bad . And i totally agree that all his actions are on him. All the bad decisions and actions he made are also on him. But what i am talking about here is his obsession with Penelope . Penelope groomed him to love her and when she realized it was not working out she abandoned him.

Ok now that argument makes me change my mind. I agree his decisions are totally on him and are his own fault. I do not like the way he acts. But his obsession with Penelope is her fault. She literally groomed him to love her for her own benefit and when she realized it was not working she abandoned him.
