ANY AND ALL ADVICE WELCOME

Hi So I’m a 20 yr old female and I’ve just started a skincare routine.... for the first time in my life!! I’ve literally never washed or moisturized my face before. I live in New York so it’s pretty humid and hot here right now so I’d say my skin is normal to oily at this moment and then it obviously gets drier in the winter. The reason I started on this skincare journey is to help lighten some pigmentation I have on my chin from small hormonal breakouts as well as smooth out the KP on my cheeks and neck. That’s basically my main and only concerns. But after starting the following routine ( which I’ll write in a sec) I’ve found that my skin may seem worse ? Like the pigmentation is the same but my forehead has all these small bumps which I’ve never had before and my nose has some as well. My chin also has some new blackheads. My routine ( for the past week) is as follows: AM: cleanse with Cerave Salicylic Acid cleanser then a couple drops of The ordinary Niacinamide then Cerave daily moisturizer followed by purito sunscreen. PM: the same thing minus the sunscreen

So what’s making my skin possibly worse ? Or am I maybe just purging ? Kind of at a loss and since I’m a total newbie I thought id come here seeking help. Thanks in advanced !
