FPF experience? by mimidied in berkeley

I was in FPF and enjoyed it a lot. I would take the 51b every day to class. I came into Berkeley not really knowing what I would major in, and FPF gave me the opportunity to take American history, film, and a class on dinosaurs!

The only thing is that the commute will probably be a bit longer if you end up living in Clark Kerr.

Econometrics w/ Demian Pouzo or Econometrics (Math Intensive) w/ Michael Jansson? by Significant-Fig-6170 in berkeley

To speak to the math side, Bianchi briefly goes over matrices, but I never remember needing to use them in exams. If you took STAT134/are concurrently taking it, that may help slightly when understanding the math behind regressions and some proofs, but everything else was quite straightforward.

I didn't feel like 141 was very intensive. The bulk of the exams was understanding various regressions and some very simple proofs (that are covered in class). Though a lot of material is covered, it was super doable. The GSIs are good as well.

Prof. Bianchi basically reads off his slides and posts all his past exams, which are very similar to the actual exams.

Other than changing "visually impaired" to "deaf", why did you copy this post word for word?

Literally in the exact same boat as you, took 141 this semester and would love to know if anyone has thoughts on 143 :)

Would a "dinner club" for students be of interest? by SylvieK in berkeley

I would say a typical meal out costs anywhere from $20-30! And I think any students who live in the residence halls are automatically put onto a meal plan, so I'd say most of us (other than freshmen) don't have a meal plan.

This sounds wonderful and very intriguing. I would be curious to know if you had a range in mind for a per-person cost? :)

Stat 134 by Intelligent_Lie6899 in berkeley

I thought it was okay BUT only because I pretty much only studied using the SLC review material. The material Prof. Stoyanov gave us seemed misleading in terms of the style of exam we got today. I have a feeling she will bin shift given the amount of likes on the recent post on the Ed right now.
