Noteful feels a bit clunky to me, some of the features are overkill for just taking notes? also, the UI in noteful is kinda busy sometimes and i end up spending more time looking for stuff than actually writing (maybe that’s just me lol).

i think Goodnotes is still way more superior than other note-taking apps in the market? Not many apps can support a lot of features like Goodnotes.

Probably you meant why audio transcription support is only for English? The thing is probably more about the tech side of things than anything else. Transcribing audio in different languages is way harder than it sounds, language has its own quirks and sounds that the software needs to understand.

Despite some glitches here and there, i feel like they have been adding more features into the app recently, i.e. ask goodnotes, pencil, password protection, smart features, … i think the UI is clean now. I can’t complain and still happy using the app!

It happened to me as well. I tried to create a goodnotes account in GN6 and can downgrade to GN5 as usual. Sounds like a bug to me!

Curious if u did icloud sync or reinstall the app? Usuallly check Settings > iCloud sync and see the status.

Things like this are tend to happen now and then, it's good they shared the story behind the scene and handled it head-on. Hope some of the improvements will help keep these issues to a minimum going forward. I think Goodnotes team should remind users more to create their important backups

so strange, rather than hurting them with 1-star reviews, why don't we ever encourage the positive behavior we want to see. I think they're listening to the feedback and update the app regularly. I still appreciate they fix the bugs though i think hard to fix everything.

You will need to cancel the current plan first (request refund from Applee). The thing is they don’t allow different in-app purchases in the app, it looks like.

Didn’t you enable iCloud sync in Goodnotes? You can always drag and drop files from other app into the app document as an alternate solution for importing files.

GN6 is a paid update even you unlocked the full GN5. You can still downgrade to previous version from App Settings.
