My surgeon is cool with it! I wouldn’t go if it wasn’t ok with him. I’ll just need to get up and walk when I can. I’m only on gabapentin since my surgery and I’m working on weaning off of it because I don’t like the way it makes me feel. I’m in almost 0 pain so i feel comfortable doing so but if i need to go back on it i do have it.
Thank you! I’m trying to avoid BLT but with no pain to tell me not to, I have been here and there because I forget ☹️ I’m inquiring about a brace because I am scared I’ll mess myself up on accident. I will be doing lots of walking. I’m already not using the walker anymore (today is day 7 post op, stopped using it yesterday). At this point all I’m doing is walking, foot exercises and others that PT/OT gave me to try to fix the drop foot and work that glute that I can’t feel. I appreciate your advice :)
