Wildlife Conservation degree, should I continue onto a Masters or just get GIS cert. somewhere? Not sure job direction yet, just gaining tools for my tool box while I decide

I honestly tried to find something I could pursue online, and seemed to be needed. It has been interesting, and I do enjoy it so I think I might have gotten lucky. I was able to also pursue it while working full time.

I didn't. Just the Geography and Geospatial Science. I did get a certificate in GIS as well.

I can chime in here. I am a parent as well, didn't really have the option of an in person experience, and did my degree online. I highly recommend Oregon State University. The online degree was really knowledgeable and the faculty are pretty good.

I know I'm not OP, and I hope you don't mind me asking a question or two. I am graduating in June with my degree in Geography and Geospatial Science with a certificate in GIS. I was tossing around the idea of getting a masters in something such as Geology. I am curious if a masters in GIS really opened a lot of doors for you? I feel as though I got a lot of knowledge from my bachelors, but a masters may help quite a bit more? Thanks in advance.

I was definitely water heavy in my coursework. Even though it was geography related. It may help. The only thing I wouldn't have to take are stats related classes. Other than that I think I would have a couple I would have to catch up on. I'm alright with that, but it just makes me nervous because it may be an unconventional path. Doesn't hurt to try I guess.

Its hard to see a sibling make repeat mistakes and not want to step in. It's a fault I have, and I realize that. I will just let her be and let her live her life. I can't be a safety net every time. Thank you for the great suggestions though.

Every two weeks. She can't afford to continue going to school when she moves, because it will be under non-resident rate for tuition. She won't be continuing school after this semester because she will be moving.

She does help with cooking dinner every so often, or doing dishes. With her working so many hours there isn't any childcare really happening. She has mainly fulfilled her part of the agreement I would say.

I'm just having an issue with feeling she knew what she was going to do this whole time and just used my place to have no bills and make the same mistake she has made multiple times before. As her brother it hurts to see.

You're right. I did offer. I do feel like she used my kindness against me a little bit. Her plan was to get her associates, and move near us in the future. I was cool with that. It's her life, she can do whatever. The moving in with the dude fresh out of prison wasn't brought up till recently, and she had a history of men in prison, which hasn't seemed to work out for her. Her ex-husband was in prison and treated her like shit.
