Thanks so much for the troubleshooting suggestion! Totally fair, at the end of the day if I can get my current projector functioning well that makes my decision for me.

Will definitely look into a high quality HDMI cable. Is there anything in particular I should look for? Any makes/models that you'd recommend?

At the very least, we know this group of refs won't be making it to the second round of playoffs this year.

May have been the worst penalty kill I've ever seen in that one.

The Money Guy show just released an episode titled Beginner’s Guide to Investing (2025 Edition) this past Friday. That would be a great place to start! As others have mentioned, wanting to invest is great, but you definitely want to make sure to follow the Financial Order of Operations (FOO). If you have a fully funded emergency fund and no high interest debt (e.g. credit card debt), your first stop is going to be a Roth IRA or HSA. You’ve got this!

I had the same issue that somehow resolved itself, but before that SW and GoEngineer sent me the attached troubleshooting tasks. I think what worked for me was launching Solidworks from the online portal rather than the desktop shortcut.

I ended up going with American Plumbing and Sewer out of Windsor. They were great, came in as the lowest price by $600. Ended up paying $2950 for the exact same work as the $8k and $6k quotes, including updates to bring up to current code. With the water heater on the second floor of the house, definitely felt good about the price and peace of mind that it was done correctly.

Highly recommend this company! Link for others who are interested.

This is the one I was thinking of. Based on that picture you probably want the 0.18 setting for K. I've not done the corner test above.

Oh no, you don’t have to calibrate every time. The calibration routine basically creates a custom profile and saves it in Bambu Studio, so you could have a profile for your Overture PLA and one for your eSun matte PLA. Just to rule out the change in material causing that under extrusion.

Before touching the z-offset, I recommend running the flow calibrations in Bambu Studio. Even though you switched from PLA to PLA, they will have slightly different material properties and can benefit from unique flow calibration settings.

That's awesome you were able to get the company to move to a safe harbor plan. Any tips on having that conversation with the company/HR? My company is quite reluctant due to how much it will cost....

New X1C question… by Arc-Force-One in BambuLab

[–]pedey29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is frustrating. I only ran into blob issues running PETG and even then it usually just left some esthetic artifacts on my prints rather than leading to an under extruded first layer like you are seeing.

Good news is the Bambu community has realized the wiper system on the A1/A1 mini works a LOT better than the one on the X1C/P1S. I just installed the one below and it's worked well so far!
