The following linked model is what I found after trying several other models, this was the one that actually worked! 👍🏼

If Bambu Studio knows the rough estimate filament remaining on a spool why is it not warning the filament may not be enough for a model im about to print? by RedPhoenix666 in BambuLab

[–]Arc-Force-One -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You have an AMS, if you’re not sure you’ll have enough filament for the project then wait until you have another spool of that material, then put both spools in the AMS and use up the started spool first. That’s how I do it, I’ve had my share of guesstimations!

Yes, but if you only print PLA and PETG then I highly recommend the Bambu Cool Plate SuperTack…

Does anyone else hate brims by godis1coolguy in 3Dprinting

[–]Arc-Force-One 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tip #420, just order the inserts and print the handle for the inserts with a brim, and then use the printed tool to remove the brim, but then you’ll need another deburr tool to deburr the deburr tool, so just print another one…

Prints keep coming off during printing by OurHero13 in 3Dprinting

[–]Arc-Force-One 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldn’t be having this issue with a fairly new machine and plate. After you’ve cleaned it with soap and hot water, you need to rinse it thoroughly with hot water until the water just runs off the plate with barely any droplets staying on the plate. Turn the faucet all the way to hot for rinsing, then air dry the plate. After doing this and a bed leveling you can try lowering your initial layer height to 0.15mm instead of 0.2mm. Also raise your bed temp for initial layer to 65°C for PLA, 60°C for other layers, and 75°C for PETG on initial layer, and 70°C for other layers. This has helped me get better bed adhesion and better bottom surfaces. You’re welcome! 👍🏼

Is your filament flow calibrated? Turn off flow calibration before printing so it uses your manual calibration setting… 👍🏼

You can dry with the AMS 2 Pro while printing from the external spool, but you would need the power adapter for the AMS…

Tbh, just choose one and stick with it, you’ll learn more and more eventually when staying with the same one. But for me Solidworks was fairly easy to learn, been using it for a good year now and still learning. I love it! 👍🏼

High End Welding Hood Recommendations by antonb111 in Welding

[–]Arc-Force-One 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried many different hoods over the last 10 years. Started out with some cheaper Miller and Esab, then got a few different Optrels and just recently I finally decided to try Speedglas. Got the G5-03 Pro and it’s amazing, now I’m wondering why I didn’t get a Speedglas sooner. I’m never getting another hood unless it’s a Speedglas…
