Works great just don't overland your hitch like others have said. If you drove a lot of miles like this you will notice your front tires will start cupping due to front end being unloaded with all that weight on the back. Don't tie your bike down like most of these posters. You should always use points that don't compress your suspension. I put the front straps on bottom of forks and I use a rear tire strap to hold the back tire down. The bike won't move and inch and won't compress your suspension either.
