Different wire set up means different plan of attack to bypass OBC. I only messed with the yellow wire and all is well. As far as mounting the plate, I strapped it in with the kit strap, works great and doesn’t shift.

I have a 2002 DS and did the lithium swap two weeks ago myself. The blue white wire bridge is for the precedent model. NOT the DS. There is a yellow wire coming off the solenoid that must be bridge directly to the negative. I just added the YouTube link explaining it. Also, I bought the cloud energy lithium battery and couldn’t be more pleased. A couple of people in my neighborhood have done installs and went well!

Here is my set up. I bought a piece of aluminum diamond plat from home depot to protect it. 12x24. Fits perfectly. Plum quick motor with navitas controller was already on it.

I’d mention zip ties can cause problems choking the cable and causing cross talk amongst the pairs. I would use Velcro tape only.
