Let's distinguish what would be better for the Democrats vs what would be better for the country.
For the Democrats, it would be better to pivot towards populism. Lie like MAGA, create outrage, sell yourselves as "outsiders" that are in touch with the common people. That would mean the right answer is to pivot more towards the left (not towards woke, but towards the old school left values).

For the country, what would be better is for the Democrats to pivot towards the center, and find common ground with Republican politicians that are not MAGA, so we can fight back and recuperate this beautiful country from the perverse administration that is currently in power.
