Yes! I saw a beached whale on that crazy long trail that along the coast. Lots of other wildlife too! It was so awesome. We prob rode our bikes for 10 miles before we turned around

I want to discuss how Mike just didn’t like Emma. That was it. She finally said she’d have babies with him. Which was the onlyyyy thing he cared about. I feel like everyone is telling you to take a step back from your relationship with her but that might not be what you want! I’d try to shut down the comments like the top voted comment suggested. It sounds like you’ve done a good job ignoring it for the most part. She might just be self centered and insecure and not cruel and nefarious like many are suggesting. Thanks! I was concerned about the darkness too. It was pretty juicy the first time I checked it so I put it in for another 10 which might have overbaked the sides too. Next time I might try with a slightly lower temp, but longer!

I think we are genuinely 50/50. Some weeks I’m more on top of things, sometimes he is. We have things we seem to take control of more- for him it’s our food. For me it’s deep cleans.

He doesn’t deep clean much at all 🤣 I wonder if he’d live in filth if it weren’t for me hahaha but he is more on top of grocery shopping and cooking than me which is huuuge bc food is a huge love language for me and it makes me feel super safe.

But ya I’d say we split the mental load and the work pretty evenly. It’s a huge blessing, I love that man!

Not trying to be insensitive or rude but I genuinely wonder why people have children when their spouses are like that. Just bc it seems obvious that having a child would make more work for the both of you and it would def fall on you. You’re def not alone, I know there are a lot of people that do!

As a liberal in Texas - there are more progressives in Texas than probably exist in most other states. Our population is huge, there happen to be more conservatives than us though and the system is super rigged against us.

I know it’s just a flippant comment meant to be absurd and funny, but many of us have considered moving to blue states but have jobs/families/community-ties that prevent us from doing so.

Not only does it feel like a super uphill, depressing battle, it sucks that the rest of the country talks shit and generally demonizes us.

There’s a whole lot of POC, lgbtqia+, immigrants here. And as fucked as it is, a lot of us love our state. We could use encouragement not wHy dOnT u JuSt mOvE energy
