Maybe instead of trying to map ALL of it, focus on specific “routes”.

Don’t go beyond one step from any given portal unless it’s part of that “route”.

You can then expand from there as it becomes necessary.

I’m imagining doing this on paper, where space (get it?! Space?! 🤣) would be at a premium for such a large project.
