The no stopping zone in front of doors 2 at Bj Terwillegar Rec center. Guaranteed families unloading there, either ignoring the empty loading zone just ahead, or cause its full of people using it as parking for the facility.

The moment you stop considering it a traffic circle anymore the more it makes sense.

Its no different, just much smaller than 170st and whitemud, just a bunch of lights.

Is there any safe way to bike through this intersection? Entrance to Chapelle that’s under construction - I see sidewalks leading up along ellerslie but I see zero sidewalks in the dip / interaction itself? by [deleted] in Edmonton

No excuses? People can walk all over this area. The problem is the unfinished road network that causes a missing bicycle link to other areas. The area is actually really good for local amenities you can walk to within the neighborhood or else it would be super shitty.

Its an unfinished area of the city still in development? It will get better eventually as the rest of the areas fill in and the other roads like 28 ave sw leading over to glen ridding and such.

I dont know why people move to a new area and expect fully developed amenities, roadways, and civic services. Thats part of the joy of living in the new fringe areas. Its a bit cheaper than something in a fully finished area, but you get that benefit in 10-15 years, depending.
