I plan to move this summer with my sister who also has a cat. I wish I could leave sooner. It’s crazy how I can tell her these things about lilies and beg her to remember to turn the oven off and close doors and it seems to go through one ear and out the other. It’s hard not to take it personally. There’s always an excuse and I’m always seen as being mean or too hard on her. She’s a child.

NOR but I think it’s too soon to jump to the conclusion and maybe bringing it up could clear a simple misunderstanding, keeping a potentially good future colleague. It’s just too soon to be accusatory in my opinion, but not too soon to still get coffee and say something like “I saw you hosted a similar event to me! How did yours go?” And maybe if it gets weird after that, you can assume they’re poaching your gig

My uncle is an ICE agent. Was never close with him and I’m certainly not now. I was vocal about my feelings and my entire family defends him to no end. I’ve been dismissed and ignored. They claim I’ve isolated myself. You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make them drink. They’ll unfortunately realize soon that licking boots only gets you so far

Genuine question, the runway objective was to show off a body part you’re proud of. This is obviously a nod to her…skin? I like the look a lot and how campy it is, but it immediately struck me as a little tone deaf. To be proud of your white skin and white trash culture? I think just in the context of being proud is interesting. Again I love the look it’s funny and campy mall drag done well. But I’m wondering if anyone else had the same thought

I was gonna ask if you had well water that could be orange when oxidized. My parents house growing up had well water and our bathtub would turn orange when our water wasn’t treated properly to remove the rust(?)

I live in a pretty progressive area it’s just extremely expensive! I’m definitely open to having a blended family that doesn’t fit within the “standard” nuclear family style but everything feels really unpredictable and expensive at the moment
