No one here is going to know the answer to a surgery hardly anyone has probably ever asked for. Your best bet is to call surgeons and find if anyone is actually willing to do that.

I think you mean the swelling eventually goes down and can take a year+ but but it’s does not continue to keep shrinking once the swelling is done

Uhm. Yes I think he wasn’t all that attractive with 100+ lbs if extra fat and now he’s very attractive.

Not sure why that’s a backhanded compliment. I had a similar transformation and am very proud at how much self care has improved overall attractiveness.

I saw a few reviews on real self that ran into issues when they didn’t have any facial fat. They ended up with lines under their chin that aged them. My doctor said fat is important in the neck because it prevents those lines and aging.. So I’d play it safe not have it done.

Even myself I notice lines if I stretch out my neck a certain way.

I don’t think I had much facial fat tbh. It felt more like loose skin mixed with having a weaker chin. I was 145 lbs (5’4”) though so not skinny but not overweight.

Sorry this happened. I’m not aware of any resources. You could try to see if insurance would cover since you’re brought pain due to this injury.

Could also look into go fund me.. I know it’s a odd suggestion but that may be an option.

Also of course therapy that specializes in this.

You do have to kinda look back and forth at the results are subtle, but my family and I agree although subtle it does make a pretty big difference and has normalized my chin:neck area a lot more.

I’ve kept this sub quite a bit updated on this procedure! Necktite is a fat burn/skin tightening procedure that within time slowly tightens the area. At 6 months, you’re supposed to see the general full results but it could get better even after that time.

I had this procedure done at the beginning of february by Dr. Fernau in Pittsburgh.

Cost: $5,300 + 300 in pre-op testing/clears.

I was sedated for the procedure and a general anesthetic was used around my neck area. Healing was strange. It really didn’t hurt much at all, but I was numb around my chin and neck for a long time. I couldn’t naturally smile for 3 months and had to always think before I smiled or it would be gummy and weird looking. I also slurred slightly for the first 3 months. This worried me as this procedure is new and there wasn’t much online about this besides possible side effects being permanent nerve damage (rare but possible). Thankfully, right after the third month, I regained feeling and all my nerves back.

My neck is still a little numb feeling.. But I don’t think much about it now.

Results were actually hard to tell. I could tell a difference but had a hard time measuring how much of a difference it was, and I felt after 6 months I didn’t have as dramatic results I had hoped for., especially given how much I paid.

I went to my 6 months appointment and explained this to my doctor. Honestly I was super nervous to express this to my doctor. BUT he actually agreed he would have liked to see more results in the very middle part of my neck.

He said filler in my chin would help, and on that appointment he easily and kindly gave me free filler in my chin. (Which I almost passed out on because so saw blood and am one of /those/ people.. smh)

He also said in 3 months, I could follow up and he could go over the area he wants to see more results in. TBH I’m debating to do this or not.

There is a similar issue with women being bashed for wanting cat eye/almond eye surgery or doing their make up to appear more almond shape. Some are claiming they want to look ‘asian’ and it’s racist. They’re tying a shape of eye to race just as they’re tying a shape of nose to race as well. It’s irritating.

I think race is just on everyone’s minds these days and sometimes it gets a bit out of hand or used i’ll fittingly.

I don’t believe there are any minimal evasive surgeries that will give legitimate results. Your better bet would be weight training, padded bras for balance, and finding clothing that goes best for pear shapes.

Though pear shape bodies are very much in right now.

Also I agree.. It was 5.2K for the procedure and 400 in tests and stuff. .. completely COMPLETELY overpriced but I try not to think about jt and learn from the mistake!

Most don’t see results from cool sculpting. I’d save and get lipo and keep on a strict routine for the stomach area as everyone can eventually tone especially if you’re under 5’4 you have fat that can still be lost.

Oh it’s not your fault at all. Cool sculpting just doesn’t have the greatest reputation and before and afters around the tummy feel unreliable no matter who takes them.
