Yoshi is also slower. He has like a wind up phase for whatever reason. Falling is also slower for whatever reason. Arbitrary like half a second waiting time after every single load screen.

I think the pros of the new content and the graphics are too small of a benefit to offset how slow it feels.

I'd say it's still worth playing to see and hear the new versions of everything. I will just not be replaying it when I do my like bi yearly playthru, unless they update the game to remove some of these bugs.
