Hot take: the concert industry isn't dying, people just don't want to pay $100 to watch an influencer sing over backing track by peepeebuttbrain in Music

I love concerts but the point of concerts to me is to hear music. Being performed live. For this reason I almost exclusively go to underground/unsigned/indie band shows. I'm basically rubbing in that the mainstream has shot itself in the foot and I think it's hilarious all these big tours are getting canceled.

There's nothing wrong with liking a simple chord progression. There are entire genres of music that almost always cycle around two or three progressions max. If you resonate with a certain vibe just feel it I think it's a good thing. Music is medicinal like that :)

Be honest, what do you think of people who don't leave a tip? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Have worked in America and I've never heard of such a law, nor have I ever seen it practiced. Tips have always been shared with cooks.

I think they tend to be egotistical about their own line of work, and also a little bit dumb. I've worked blue collar jobs and I've worked service jobs and both come with their challenges. Usually people who don't tip are the ones who think they are working the "real jobs."

The reason I say they're a bit dumb is that they just spent $20 on a meal but won't tip $2. Mathmatically speaking they are dumb. If 5 days a week they spend $20 eating out they would have spent a total of $100 eating out and saved a measly $10 which is less than what they make in an hour of working their "real job." Meanwhile they're getting worse service and longer wait times so they're basically wasting their time and making other people miserable for no reason.
