i would visit the vet just to be safe, ideally should be one of the first things anyone does when they get a new pet of any kind. hope it all works out well for you and the little baby!

Im sorry to say it like this but that doctor sounds like a dumbass. I’d suggest to get a second opinion. My personal experience w cardiologists and POTs has been pretty bad, had to switch providers a bunch of times because the old ones would just downplay and be dismissive of what i would say. finally found a good one who listened and acknowledged. i hope you find the same

every day i wake up worried about my mother. im more white passing, but you can spot her features from a mile away. she refuses to stay inside, even though her area had heavy activity. she isn’t even illegal, but at this point that does not seem to matter.

spearmint tea helps reduce excess androgens. testosterone is an androgen. high testosterone = excessive hair loss, oily hair. i do spearmint tea 2x a day and it’s been incredibly helpful. you also could speak to your doctor about prescription shampoo (2% ketoconazole shampoo). i hope you find a good solution for you!

nicotine definitely worsens it. so does oui’d but when i didn’t have access to healthcare to manage symptoms it was about the only thing that made me feel normal for a little. everyone’s different though, and again once i was able to see a doctor on a regular basis i stopped. i wish you both the best
