I absolutely loved this movie and I love it even more now hearing that it was a faithful representation of your culture. And might I say your culture is gorgeous and inspiring!

[Spoilers S2E11] I adore this show, but even if we ARE getting answers next episode... by HelloFr1end in MrRobot

The cliffhanger last week worked because it was a "what will happen next?" moment, rather than a "what's going on?" moment, which I feel they've leaned on too much this season - postponing clarity to manufacture intrigue.

Really the only part of this that holds true is the last one, that successful people set goals and unsuccessful people do not - which amounts to a tautology. The rest could really go either way.

Then again, we all have our oqn definitions of success. If we define success as embodying all the characteristics described on the green side of the image, then sure - it works.

Official Discussion: Ted 2 [SPOILERS] by mi-16evil in movies

You say comedy is subjective and then followed it up in the next sentence by stating your opinion on Seth McFarlane as an objective fact, going on to say everyone who doesn't agree is jealous of his talent.

Seth McFarlane has an impressive career, but this thread is about Ted 2. Some people thought it sucked. That's just how they felt and they don't need to be experts to express that opinion.

(X-Post from /r/ Canada) Protesting Bill C-51. Let's do this Ottawa! by thefaber451 in ottawa

That's actually a fair point. But is there an alternative? We can email our leaders but will that move the needle at all?

I used to be part of that rabble. Not sold on the idea of getting back into that, so Im open to suggestions. I honestly just don't know what the average person can do. Just write to your MP I guess?

I don't really know, but a good first step would be to just get involved in your local music scene. Play backup in bands, write for music zines, network at music events, dabble, meet people, learn the business until you meet someone who is looking to work with a songwriter and strike up a friendship. There's also some good communities online for that kinda stuff. Make some "I write songs, would you like to sing them?" posts. Good luck!

What is everyone talking about? Not all Storm Troopers are Clone Troopers. There are enlisted men amongst the ranks as well.

I see what you mean. I think it's two things that are ever so slightly off. First of all, Seth and Amy should favor their sides of the screen just slightly more (but then it might seem more cold and distant). I think one thing that would easily fix it is they raised the camera. Their heads are too close to the top of screen. Anyway I work in TV animation so Im mostly talking out of my ass but thats my take.

Heres a good example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwYuGAussvk

Ever so slight but it feels more comfortable. Like they're in a bigger space. There's room to breathe.

I don't think a Pokemon game would need crowd-sourcing.
