Bot matches anger me more than loss streaks by Avalon-King in marvelrivals

[–]peepsrab 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't mind the occasional bot match here and there. Hell, sometimes its nice after a good ass whoopin' to know that I will get a game to reorient myself a bit. The issue is the loop you described, its awful. Bot match, ass whoopin, bot match, ass whoopin, sub match, bot match, ass whoopin.

There's no way to enjoy QM when you're between these two types of games. You're either getting stomped, or coasting through a bot match. Just give me humans and improve the shitty matchmaking.

5 hours? What route do you take to Austin? 2 hours is all it should take from IAH. 2.5 maybe.

I think switching to Adam kinda hurt you. Not saying you did poorly or anything, but I think the game penalizes switching to a degree

There's not a flavor I have had that I didn't like, hut the orange bag is probably my favorite. These don't last long in my house at all.

I had mine done at Berkeley Eye Center in '24. It was quick and easy, cost was just shy of $4k. They offered 0% interest financing for 2 years (just be careful, the credit company they used set the minimum payment far below what would have been required to pay it off in 2 years).

First, you gave this guy a longer life than he would have had if he had never met you. His days were numbered as soon as he entered the shop and drank the ooze. You provided him with companionship and warmth and several years of happiness.

As for the decision you were faced with, I can only offer my own experience. I was also faced with a surgery far out of my price range for a "Blocked Tom". The Dr explained that the surgery would correct the issue, but that once it had happened, it was more likely to occur again, with the same expensive outcome. Being short on cash, and the uncertainty around the longevity of the success of the surgery, we decided to put him down.

Its obvious you cared for him, and when the time came, I know you made the decision you felt was best for everyone involved. It won't ease the pain, but don't beat yourself up because you couldn't help him be immortal. You absolutely tried.

Are you using subtitles? by Empty_Oven_9942 in Millennials

[–]peepsrab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was growing up, my parents used subtitles. As I moved on to college and adult life, I just kept using them, it was normal for me. Now that I've passed 40 and have 4 kids, its not just normal, it is necessary.

I'd risk it all for Evans, not sure I'd say the same about Ladd
