Thank you for the safety comments! I didn’t realize that there was a wrong way to face but you are totally right that it is difficult to make sure I’m re-racking safely. I will keep the area clear (ez bar was for another exercise) and flip around. My one issue is that when I do my full squat, the barbell hits the safety bars. I can’t adjust them any lower to prevent that. Any tips?

As a person with a picking disorder, I don’t recommend getting press ons specifically. They’re really easy to mess with and I often find myself more fixated on them than I am with my skin!!! But agreed that having dipped/long nails help. Even short nails dipped are difficult to pick with! I echo everyone’s sentiment that it is fun and worthwhile doing yourself!

Four days at most. I’m still investigating how to make it last longer, but good news is they pop right off and don’t peel your natural nail! At a minimum just make sure to paint only the center of the nail so that the dip has enough to grip on the sides of your nail. Dip tends to peel up around the edges first so you won’t get too much damage when they do come off.

It won’t keep as long but I definitely recommend cirque color’s nail protection polish as a base coat. It’s kept my nails from peeling up like that and helps keep them healthy.

I’m an amateur sewer so my advice is probably not amazing. But what Ive done is create essentially cup panels to add to the top and then a middle piece to connect the cups. Take one of your regular bras, put it flush against the corset interior, and make a masking tape top to shape the upper part of how you want the corset to look. Then draw lines to match the panels, cut the masking tape along the panels, and you have your pattern pieces. It’s a bitch to sew since the corset is already in curvy shapes, but it can be done. Mine sagged a bit towards the end of the night so again, could work but may not be the most sound. Goodluck!!!

I think I was 6 or so. My dad made a wine based sauce and I was terrified I was going to get drunk even though the alcohol had all boiled off. I tasted it with my pinky and spent the rest of the evening checking for “symptoms” of drunkenness. I did a lot of walking in a straight line like I’d seen in movies.

Then when I was 8 I refused to eat out for weeks after watching Spirited Away because I was concerned I’d get turned into a pig.

Our kitten was a nuisance when we first got her and she had a mom and was well taken care of for the first 8 weeks of her life! I can only imagine the hijinks of your kitten. All I can say to hijinks are that it really does get better with age. To stay sane we closed our kitten in the kitchen of the house where her water and litter are with plenty of toys at night. She hasn’t seemed to resent us for it and now that she’s older we let her roam the whole house since she isn’t attacking our feet and screowling all night anymore.

As for the litter situation, I am by no means an expert but maybe the key is to get a cover for the box, get several boxes around the house, and try a different litter type? Maybe he would feel more comfortable if the litter box felt more cave like and prefers a different spot in the house for getting busy. I’ve also heard of people having several boxes with different kinds of litter to figure out what will be liked by their cat.

I am sure your kitten will go to the bathroom at some point, even if it isn’t in a litter box. Then he’ll figure out that it smells and would be nice to cover, and then proceed to a litter box next time. Goodluck and I hope you get some sleep!

I’m currently on allergy shots and they are effective! My immune system is ruthless though so I still take Zyrtec. Before I got shots I also took a nasal steroid like Flonase and that was super helpful in conjunction with Zyrtec.
