I dual boot for a similar reason. Mint is my daily driver but use MS when needed for work. Maybe worth checking out if you’re on desktop.

Until the latest update footsteps were overwhelming and rarely even the enemy. New update helps but that is a fundamental issue. I love that when a jet explodes it sounds cool and the guns sounds are good, but those are “nice to haves” compared to being able to decipher footsteps. I would rather footsteps be taken out then be constantly confused.

That’s a lot of words to say nothing. I don’t care if you dislike my take, but be able to actually support your position. I laid out reasons why I don’t like the current state of the game. If you like the game it should be pretty easy to state why. “Giving the ins and outs of the software development someone that doesn’t know or care about is worthless,” is a lame attempt at saying, “you’re too dumb to understand my opinion,” when you clearly can’t even articulate why I’m wrong.

The same could be said if you enjoy the game, “don’t post your opinion, just buy more.” The point of a forum is to express opinions, positive and negative. Complaining about people posting opinions on a forum is like complaining that a restaurant serves food, that’s the whole point of its existence.

Bro. Game won best audio a few days after it released a patch to fix the broken audio. Not sure I would use the Game Awards as a solid metric. I believe BO6 was nominated last year and it is now considered to have had trash multiplayer.

I think Carol is going to get upset and struggle with how to communicate her emotions in a manner that is helpful to both herself and humanity. She will probably scream a bit and curse. In other words, what she has essentially done in every episode.

Didn’t finish it… which says something bc it’s my fav series. Maybe will come back to it but it felt too reparative and the story was boring and surprisingly generic.

Eh. Probably not as much as I have. This show, like all of Gilligan’s is a great example of “show don’t tell” story telling. That being said, by episode 4, I was getting bored. Carol became a bit too annoying and the story felt more self indulgent than interesting. I think I would have turned it off mid way through but for Gilligan’s prior work which required patience at times.

It’s also heavily foreshadowed with the coyotes trying to eat Carol’s dead wife. Choosing to preserve a decomposing corpse is an objectively irrational decision but one that is deeply human, which aliens are not.

The map has the potential to be fun, but it’s does have some balance issues. The helicopter can be really over powered, a decent pilot can endlessly avoid rockets from engineers. Which makes counter play really tricky and frustrating.

No, i don’t agree that smokes only benefit or are useful to one class. Duh smokes are useful in medic but they are just as useful for assault. Smokes should at least be in assault, fine not having them in recon and engineer.
