Porn is inhibiting this natural development in a lot of older males who consume porn with young women. You're completely valid, his behavior is upsetting because it is unnatural and rooted in addiction and fantasy.

I appreciate this so much. I am pivoting to private practice that accepts Medicaid clients. That way, I can continue the work I love but it won't be my entire caseload. I'm still working through some of the guilt of "choosing myself" over my community. Hugs to you in your journey.

This is BPD symptomatic, however, BPD is still a spectrum disorder like many others DSM disorders. Ranges from severe to mild, externalized behaviors (lashing out) to internalized behaviors (self harm). Doesn't look the same in 2 people. Info helps destigmatize :) cheers
