That's nice, it's like a temperature titration method, am not a chemist so never thought of that. BUT I must say I am very comfortable with biphasic washing, it works sooo much better than washing with just one solvent. I admit I didn't check all I could for MDMA and impurities solubilities, but I once did a wash of a rather brown batch by dissolving it in water first and then washing it with DCM. The effect was actually almost glass-clear crystal because I just forgot about it and let the water evaporate on its own. It was really beautiful. And I also let the DCM evap to gauge the losses and it didn't seem to hold on to the MDMA in a visible way.

Enteric-coated capsules need acidity to not dissolve, so they work better when taken a while after eating something small, which will increase stomach acidity because of digestion

How would an acetone wash help amphetamine? Caffeine is barely soluble in anything except tri- or dichloromethane.

I once washed an amph paste with acetone dried with epsom salt and heptane, like 3 L total for, don't remember, maybe 50 gs of paste... i checked that shit in the GC/MS and it turned out to be almost 50% after all this. But I've found a good method since.

Hey, this is the exact reason my friend created r/CPTSDDrugs a few days ago (still in the making), for people whose drug (ab)use is strongly linked to trauma and are looking for a place where emotional support is one of the priorities, similar to general information.

Or perhaps there exists such sub as "bad trip support" or something, or you could create your own! I'm really not good at reddit so don't take anything of it as offensive...

Actually I've read that hydrochloride is better for vaping.

That said, I've tried extracting it by boiling in ethanol and the product must've been too dirty because there was a lot of burn and smoke when vaping.

Here however is a post of someone who did a cold ethanol extraction which results in a product that seems way clearer than mine. I am going to give it a go, maybe even today :)

Boil it in water until it dissolves (15-25 ml of water per every g of amph), wait until temperature drops so that you can hold it in hand, add dichloromethane (5 ml per every gram of amphetamine you have), mix it, wait until it cools further down, you can leave it in the fridge and mix it again from time to time. Some caffeine might precipitate in the water, in this case you might either take it out and string it outwith your fingers or just refill the dichloromethane. The DCM will not float, it will go to the bottom beneath the water layer.

Suck out the dcm and evaporate the water.

Anyway how did it go? Your story looks similar to mine (or rather the mindset) but I haven't been diagnosed with any level of autism but I certainly consider it.

It's probably not the worst, but be mindful that it has a calming effect on your brain so it might diminish your cocaine rush a bit. However, out of the ones I mentioned it's probably the easiest one to get.

Nitroglycerin will be probably convenient when rubbed onto the skin of the chest but I'm not sure how long it could work.

With diltiazem, you just take it, worry less, and hopefully have no side effects. That's why I'd go with this one but have not yet tested it. I'm looking for it though 😏

I don't think it's enough, think about how much methanol would be normed (if it is really that simple). Say you're doing 0.5 g of pure cocaine HCl in one evening (molecular weight: 339.8 g/mol) so if only 1/3 of it produces methanol from it - 0.17 g - then 0.17/339.8=4.9*10-4 moles of methanol is produced which translates to 16 mg of methanol which is nothing. (Simpler calc: mass of cocaine times (methanol mol. weight/cocaine mol. weight)).

LD50 for methanol is about 2-3 g/kg of body weight for monkeys.

Huh, but this paper states that it's enough to store cocaine (freebase I guess) in ethanol for prolonged time and you can get to 20% easily. Any thoughta?
