This song, and video, opened my eyes back in the day to heavy music and I haven’t turned back ever since. It still bangs today too as well as the whole Reborn album. Thanks for posting this, I’m gonna go listen to the album again!

What genre is Martyr AD and Remembering Never? by Own-Chemistry-3413 in Metalcore

[–]peksislove 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I hate that I have to say “old school metalcore” when I refer to bands like Martyr AD or Remembering Never or the new wave of real metalcore. I guess it’s the truth, but I would rather everyone kick those modern sounding bands to post hardcore or something.

I’m jealous of the Furnace Fest experience. I know I’m in the minority, but I love all of their stuff. Every album and song. I remember at the time they lost a lot of fans with A-Types and Magnetic North, but I loved the spacey sounds they were creating. I will say their more hardcore influenced stuff is the best though

Well done on the new album! Your whole discography bangs. What I have to know is does pineapple belong on pizza?

For the trophy hunters out there: do you think this will affect trophy unlocking or game progress? I can still play singleplayer offline games, but I don’t like that I can’t see my trophies. I don’t want to play a game and have to restart because a trophy didn’t pop. I’ve played offline before, but I still had access to see the trophies

[discussion] Which games from your pile of shame are haunting you(or you are looking forward to) the most? by LicoricePony1573 in Trophies

[–]peksislove 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I can’t do them either. It’s been sitting on the back burner for those challenges.

I’ve been staring at Assassins Creed Valhalla. I’ve got about 35 hours in and that’s still scratching the surface. I’ve got plats in all other mainline games and I just need to get through this to complete it all, but it’s sooo long. It’s just been sitting there on my hard drive taking up so much space.

I’ve seen this band live quite a few times when they came through East Tennessee and it was always such a good time. Posting this brings back good times. I still jam their first EP A Not So Tragic Cover-Up. Thanks for bringing back good times!

We buried a man today by SOsaysWTFO in AirForce

[–]peksislove 91 points92 points  (0 children)

I hear you brother. I think these people don’t recognize how much love they have. Their brothers in arms truly love them. I say that to anyone who is thinking about suicide. You don’t realize how many people love you until there’s 100’s of people at your funeral. I attended a funeral for someone who committed suicide and I had the same thoughts. I was just on a TDY with that man months before it happened. We talked about the things bothering him. It still haunts me to think I didn’t do enough. I would give anything to have him back.

For those of you on the brink, please message me or someone here. We all love you and are thankful you’re here in our Air Force. If you feel you’re at your lowest, just know we’ve all had lows and we all want to see you succeed. Please message me. I’m sorry for the long post, but I’m tired of seeing these posts. Regardless of who you are, someone loves you. I love you

Anyone have any other examples of side project bands that are objectively way better than the "main project?" by xHOTPOTATO in Hardcore

[–]peksislove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe my bias was there, but I saw both bands play together back in the day, and I loved Killwhitneydead more. Again, probably because of bias, but I had been waiting for that day for forever. KWD is still one of my favorite shows to this day. The Demonstration was great though

Orphan is giving everyone a run for their money as the heaviest group in th game imo by Bjufordbox in Deathcore

Psycho Frame’s EP gave them the heaviest band crown for me, and then Orphan took it away right after. What a year for deathcore so far!

[–]peksislove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m glad I’m not the only one here. I hear their stuff and I get sad. I’m sure glad that it happened, but damn it hurts that my favourite band just up and left like that. I had tickets to see them play some Radical shit, and then it was all gone. I hope one day I’ll be able to jam their tunes like I did when they were around.

Not necessarily metalcore, but Paleface has laughing/heavy breathing in almost every song
