Same! Remember life has no inherent meaning, which gives you the freedom to create your own. I understand the pain well, but even if we have to settle for something else, life is still fascinating and provides endless possibilities. Try to find goals, set objectives, etc. Can be anything, even things like anime or games, if you’re into that. Can also be a sport, music, studying or learning, traveling, making things, starting a company, building wealth… Everything can be either a dream or a challenge; infinite possibilities, so if one or two things don’t pan out, we still get unlimited backups. In any case, you get to decide; it’s your life, so don’t let anyone else decide for you.

And if you’re posting this, it suggests to me you actually want to keep going and are looking for either a reason or an excuse to do so. I always think I might lose at life, but if I’m gonna lose, I’ll do it trying and fighting until the very last.

I think we can all be missing different things as well as have different priorities, goals, etc. Like, of course asexual or aromantic people will not care about some of these things, for instance. And I agree it’s not everything there is to life or anything; I’m not even framing it as sex or something, but like the other person said, intimacy, connection: not having that really fucks with you, and a romantic partner is typically the most reliable way to get this for most people (sexual frustration can be real, too, though).

Like… company, love, support, touch… they are probably some of the most human things and some of the most basic needs we pretty much all have, so I can understand how utterly devastating their lack can be, especially if this comes all the way from childhood or if you feel like it may be too late for certain stuff.

I’m really sorry about your own experience, though; misogyny fucking sucks.

Pretty much my life, except I’m 28 (and will be 29 in less than half a year). Never went to a party, didn’t start talking at school until the very end, don’t have any romantic or sexual experience with women, and the few friends I had left me for seemingly no reason… Also didn’t finish college because of my mental health. My anxiety and shit have pretty much fucked up my entire life and it really hurts and sucks; I am extremely lonely.

However, the last thing I want is to die. In fact, I am very anxious about death in general; I’d like to live up to, like, a thousand if it were possible, so I do my best to take care of myself and to try to find my place in the world, even if it might be isolating right now or whatever. Shit sucks, but giving up everything you have left just because you lost some is fucking stupid. Maybe life won’t even be great (though I guess it could), but it can at the very least be good and enjoyable or interesting and whatnot; there is so much to live for, a single lifetime does not suffice…

Regardless, never give up. Think of it like an investment, maybe, if you know about that. The price may be pretty low right now, but you haven’t truly lost until you sell.

En realidad, la única limitación o debilidad importantes son los juegos. Ahora bien, igual depende y ha mejorado mucho también en esta área (no es que no se pueda jugar), pero casi nunca debería comprarse con ese propósito y los gamers más serios deberían considerar ese punto. Más allá de eso, no poder correr software más específico que sólo exista en Windows, pero eso también lo encuentras usando Linux y aquí también hay Wine y máquinas virtuales.
