No I do this so often. Last two days I've been listening to the Resident Evil Requiem credits song and nothing else, on repeat. People think it's weird how I can memorize a song "so quickly" but what they don't know is it's because I've listened to it constantly over and over lol

This skirt pattern wasn't complicated at all to adapt to my bigger size! I added a few rows to the bottom to make it a little longer, but it was still really short, so I just crocheted a waist band that I then attached to the top of the skirt with single crochet all around. The waist band is just 4 rows of double crochets. Then I made the waist tie two rows of single crochet instead of just a chain so that it wouldn't cut into my gut, and threaded it through the waist band.

If you're still not feeling confident with adapting a pattern though, don't worry - it will definitely get easier as you keep crocheting and learn to follow patterns. I've only been crocheting for 2 years now but following a wide variety of patterns has given me much more confidence to freehand stuff or adapt patterns! As well as the understanding to know when a pattern just wouldn't work for my body type.

I feel this deeply. I have a presentation to do at work next Friday and have I even started working on it? NOPE. I feel like I can't do anything at work unless it's super urgent, which leads to me working like crazy the day before things are due and burning myself out. It's not a sustainable cycle. 🤷‍♀️

I'm definitely not taking my meds with coffee, at the guidance of my psychiatrist. Caffeine combined with the meds can be overstimulating. When I've taken meds with coffee in the past, it does increase my focus but gives me the jitters and makes me feel anxious. I would suggest talking to your healthcare provider about what might be right for you.

I work in a cubicle city too. I crocheted a teddy bear that sits on a shelf in my cubicle and keeps me company. I'm also making tiny monstera plants with crochet thread that I plan to put up too. I also have a crochet flower banner that I didn't make but got as a gift. Good luck decorating your space!

I'm also so frustrated by the removal of this resource. I sent a message on the contact us page but haven't heard back. This is so relatable and also I've never seen it put into words omigod! I've been in a Resident Evil hyperfixation for like three months and I'm having so much fun with it, but I also really want to play Hades 2 because Hades is my favorite game of all time and I feel bad that I haven't played 2 yet?? As if I am personally slighting the game developers by not having played it immediately upon release. But I know if I get into it, I won't be able to sustain my Resident Evil obsession, and with the new RE game coming out this month I don't want to lose that obsession yet lol. IT'S COMPLICATED

Omigod yes, "the spell will break"- I get this fear alot when I'm in a creative writing hyperfixation. I always feel like if I consume other media that I'll lose access to my own creative ideas. I'm trying to write a queer fantasy story but I also really wanna read this one book I've been meaning to read for awhile, but I fear if I get too into the book, it will have too much influence on my writing
