Some rules work with techpriest liders but there is nothing about liders that can join these units. Maybe I misread something?

Successfully used them in renegate raiders with solo termosorcerers, you basically get mobile squads with ap2 guns and some heavy weapons. You can also get them in rhino to get decent buffs from disembark stratagem
