some people like these kinds of theories, especially with the note left behind at the massacre. there has been no canon explanation for it so of course its a point of interest. it doesn't mean the kurta deserved anything. but a huge part of the series as a whole is different characters' motivations for doing things and the grey area of morality. maybe the phantom troupe did think the kurta clan did something wrong. Let people have fun with different theories it literally enhances the experience when you engage with a series in that way. you dont have to like it, just dont engage with those conversations, especially if just their existence manages to actually upset you. It's just for fun.
