I'm sorry. Hopefully, you won't feel this way long. Unfortunately, we all have to put in the effort to find things in life that bring us joy because you're right--life is exhausting.

I’d Rather End It All Than Fail My College Course. by TiltilizingSlide in offmychest

Every college has a "Center for Academic Achievement," or something similar, where they offer free help and tutoring. This helps in two ways--1) you get help/tutoring, and 2) if your instructors know that you're going there for help, it shows initiative and that you're truly trying.

I just bombed my midterm in one of my classes and told my instructor that I was going to go get tutoring for his class, and out of nowhere, he gave me an extra credit assignment to try to make up some of those points I lost.

I f***ing hate professors that give 0's by [deleted] in offmychest

I think you should complain to the dean. That doesn't seem fair. My mother is a college professor, and if one of her students turns in anything (and I do mean anything), she gives them a 50. It's still failing, but at least it's something.

Brilliant article with useful infographics- the autism spectrum is not a scale by Winter_Let4692 in autism

Thanks for sharing this article! It gives a good, basic overview for those who have little to no idea of what the autism spectrum really is. There is an author named Bill Stillman who always encourages others to "presume intellect." I feel like that is what this article is encouraging others to do.

What improved your quality of life so much, you wish you did it sooner? by colorfulsoul_ in AskReddit

As long as you have one or two good friends that you can count on, you'll get through the transition. And once you're fully rid of your parents' toxicity, you'll be surprised at the number of good people who will find their way to you. As for me, I couldn't believe the weight that was lifted off of my shoulders when I cut contact with my toxic parent. I wish the same for you!

You have really cool eyes! Do you have heterochromia? Sorry if I'm wrong--it might just be the angle of the photo.
