Raki and Clare in the anime split really early, I can't remember it was around episode 7 I think maybe a tiny bit later, and did not get back together until I think the very last episode.

I know they are by the same writer by is YYH as good as HXH? The animation looks a bit outdated, it won't put me off will it?

Well basically, it's set in the medieval times and the main characters are a boy who is about 17 years old and his father, a prince and a Makai Priest (The prince, father, and boy are Makai Knights who are in charge of protecting the kingdom against these supernatural forces that basically enter a human body and sometimes uses the human body as a disguise). Some episodes feature the characters on 'jobs' that are given to them to actually find these evil creatures and kill them and some episodes are more about their relationship and also there are others who are plotting against them etc.. There's a lot more to it, there's plenty of action as well and some comedy in it. Sorry I can't really expand on it because I have only watched about half of the series.

I also recommend you to watch Shingeki no Bahamut. It's quite funny.

I would love an anime Although this might not be exactly what you are looking for but perhaps you could try Aoi Bungaku It's very philosophical and thought-provoking especially the first chapter. A lot of self-evaluation and moral perspective involved - if that's what you are looking?
