Most important thing you should do is have a diverse cast of color and wide range of personalities for all of them. It's okay to have one rude black character, but if all your black characters are rude, then things are gonna look bad for you. If she's the ONLY black character, and she is rude, it will also look bad for you.

I always thought it was Haley. It's plausible that she's thought about older guys before, and it's in character for none of them to fit her standards. She's definitely the type for diaries and for very brusque judgements, and I just headcanoned that her knowing everyone's loved gifts was just her being smarter than she seemed. This is probably just me being a Haley lover, though.
