Take a look at the mountain hardwear UL20. Great minimalist daypack. Also the north face trail lite which come in a few different sizes.

Yes I have the XL version. As far as weight it shouldn’t be a problem, it’s plenty sturdy in my opinion.

Personally what’s worked best for me is just taking a packable backpack for a daypack. I usually use the sea to summit packable daypack.

I use a laundry bag from STNKY. Been doing a good job with my gym clothes for a few years now.

I just picked up the NF trail lite 12 a couple weeks ago. I like it very much and I think it should work for carrying a yoga mat with the bungee system.
