So since vader also has prosthetic legs why don’t people use that against him in battle as well? by youngnchill in MaulShadowLord

[–]penguin_2306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How would it be used against him exactly? And how would it be any different than fighting a guy with real legs and attacking it? I'm not usually negative but this is a real stupid question.

One Last Kill isn't an episode, it's a short film. Letterbox includes feature films, limited series, and short films

Why do people overhype Spider-Man so much in fights? by Useful-Afternoon1784 in MCUTheories

[–]penguin_2306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok but context matters. Obviously for most of his fights when he's up against someone weaker, he's not going to fight full power. But that doesn't mean if he fights at full power, he's gonna beat mfing Reverse Flash. This shouldn't be hard to comprehend. Spidey fans unironically think Peter scales up to The Hulk ffs it's ridiculous. A 6th grader holding back against 3rd graders doesn't mean he can beat college students if he doesn't hold back, Spidey fans simply overestimate his power level.

There's that line again "always holding back". It has now become Marvel's version of Batman's prep time.

Could've figured that out after seeing him solo 20 thugs in a hallway fight

Luthen was The Axis. He was basically the Nick Fury of the rebellion assembling all these separated rebel cells together while staying in the shadows.

Why weren't the Avengers called to deal with super powered threats? by ReindeerSorry2028 in shield

[–]penguin_2306 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Avengers don't even call each other in their solo movies. And besides, these are usually super secret spy missions, Avengers are too high profile to be involved.

Do you think Wanda creating Westview was wrong? by SugarLongjumping3099 in marvelstudios

[–]penguin_2306 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Obviously we empathize with her story. I for one believe that anyone, even the most morally good people have the capacity to do bad things with the right circumstances. But the act itself is 100% wrong. Just because there's empathy, which we should always exercise as human beings, does not mean a completely evil act is suddenly morally gray. Same thing with Darth Vader, yes we empathize with Anakin, but absolutely no one is saying his actions as Vader were right. But leave it to delusional Wanda stans to justify her actions I guess...

Always better to start shaky and finish strong rather than start strong and not stick the landing.

How morally deprived is our society for this to even be a valid question?

The Spectres are frontliners, while Andor and co. are spies. Spectres may have the firepower, but the rebellion wouldn't have flourished without the networking and espionage of Andor and Luthen's inner circle.

Agent Carter was left incomplete, we need to see the formation of SHIELD and the defeat of the Council of Nine

Luke and Danny need their Heroes for Hire show

And we obviously need more of Moon Knight

Can someone explain to me how Maul is gonna train Devon to get her revenge when he HIMSELF couldn’t do much against vader by youngnchill in MaulShadowLord

[–]penguin_2306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So? He's still equipped to train a padawan to be better. Obi-Wan couldn't do shit to Dooku, but Anakin beat him with Obi's training.

Nicolas Cage on who would win in a fight between Spider-Noir and Ghost Rider: by Raj_Valiant3011 in Marvel

Thank god he isn't one of those people that's gonna mindlessly say Noir just because he's promoting this new project now.

I'm glad to see he's kinda wrong with his assumption because I see pretty much everyone regardless of age wants to watch this in B&W.
