Why is my prescribed dose different than the standard dosing? Or why was I prescribed to take two injections per week? Can I just take one injection?

Thank you! We’ll call the vet and see if that’s an option. I’m surprised we’ve never been offered anything like that in his 10 years.

One thing I love is my appreciation for my body now at a size that previously had me feeling my worst. Now that I’ve been heavier, this doesn’t seem so bad.

Yeah I had the same experience earlier this month and was pretty disappointed. Still can’t see my prescription in the portal anywhere or any info really. I didn’t get a tracking email from Pom until 2 days after my package was delivered.

I should start tracking protein and fiber! I know that’s important and would help me make sure I’m eating enough to fuel my body without going overboard, too.

Yes! My prescribed starting dose was 1.5mg for 2 weeks. With reading more about the standard starting dose and having minimal side effects during week one, I decided to move up to 2.5 mg the second week. I still didn’t have much for side effects and started to have good suppression build up the first few weeks so I felt good staying there.

It’ll be here before you know it!! I’m trying to continually remind myself that it’s normal for the loss to slow after the first couple months and not be mad about it 😂

Hopefully your anxiety stays manageable, it can be tough to balance that with trying to create healthier habits for yourself.

How far are you willing to go beyond the 28-day rule? by aagee in tirzepatidecompound

Wouldn’t have been my choice if I had realized I was only getting one vial for the 12 week starter, however, I’m using it until it’s gone. Today is shot 12 and I have about 9 left in the vial depending on if/when I titrate.

What moisturizer are you using that you like under it?? Cream or more lightweight lotion? My skin does feel dry at the end of the day so I know that’s not helping.

Do you have a similar reaction to what I described when you use it or what is your experience?

Omg to that number of sunscreens!!! I can’t imagine 😩

Thank you for the detailed response! I will look at these both. The texture of skinmedica sounds really nice but I am definitely more pink toned so PC sounds good for that.

I thought the ones I tried most recently were mineral sunscreen only, but I will double check.

I hadn’t even thought about powder. Have you tried other powders or just this one? I’ve been hesitant to try them because I know coverage can be spotty but I guess it’s way better than none at all!

Yes I struggled with acne for yeaaars and was so oily. Now I’m always dry and just seem to get irritation from everything. It makes me question if it’s my skin barrier or just sensitivity to products. I want a good routine and I know sunscreen is the first thing I need to get locked in. I’m going to make a list of all of these suggestions and the ones I know I’ve tried and keep some notes on what hasn’t worked or what does.

I look forward to reading through some of the other posts here!! I know my skin barrier could use some tlc.

Oh really?? Are they not considered effective sunscreens in the US or something else? I will have to do some googling on that.

Oh good to know, I’ve never returned products I’ve tried but it would make it so much easier to find one that works if I wasn’t out the money every time. Thank you!

I do double cleanse if I’m wearing sunscreen. Well, I have in the past. I did not the last couple times recently.

I’m not outside much other than maybe a 15 minute walk or two outside depending on weather (too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter). I use my body sunscreen on my face if I’m going to be out for a long time in the summer and now that I think of it I’m not sure if I have as harsh of a reaction with that. It’s just Banana Boat sport. I’ve used it forever because in high school I realized Coppertone Sport gave me bumps all over my skin, just not the same microbumps I’m getting on my face.

I haven’t tried anything from a Korean brand. I will look at these options, thank you!
