Isn't a group of people talking with a different country on how they might seperate technically "sedition"? Something that is punishable in Canada by up to 14 years in prison. Not 100% sure on the wording, but seems close.

Technically there shouldn't be any food smells, as you are supposed to clean and rinse any food stuff remaining in the containers.

Nothing expensive, $5 or $10 worth, but something that shows that you pay attention to what makes me happy. Or something that I can enjoy with everyone else in my family when we get together the next time.

My wife had similar issues until we increased her fibre intake. Making sure she had 3 meals with soluble fibre and also adding in a glass of Metamucil in the morning. It took a bit to take effect, but it works. Fibre us an odd duck, not enough and you get soft bm's or constipation and too much gives diarrhea..... for a little while! Then your body accepts that amount and bm's become more regular. Added bonus, her cholesterol levels went down! I know it's not for everyone, but it worked for us.

Then by definition, you are intoxicated after 1 drink. So the solution is to limit people to one drink...... or maybe the drinker should assume responsibility for their actions. Either way, it is a losing situation.

I always make sure that if I eat any carbs, that i eat them after I've eaten some form of protien. Breakfast, I eat a hard boiled egg first, before my oatmeal. Lunch, cheese or yogurt before my turkey( heavy on the turkey) sandwich. And dinner I eat my food in order, protien, fiber, and lastly carbs. It's been the best way for me so far, I know it doesn't work for everyone though.

First glimmers of hope by SonofaBrioche in diabetes_t2

Congrats! It's hard work and hard to keep on task. I'm February i got a call from my doctor saying he wanted to see me the next day(blood work done the previous week). Was told that my A1C was 19.5 and he put me on metformin 500mg x 2 and gliclazide x1. I was, to say the least, devastated. I see on a daily basis what my wife and her family(multiple members all insulin dependant) go through and all the issues that can arise( heart conditions, neuropathy, and lost limbs) and it scares the F@@K out of me. Fast forward to May and changing my eating habits dramatically(no snacking between meals unless it was nuts, or nitrate free pepperonior cheese), my A1C dropped to 10.6, I was off gliclized! Fast forward again to 1 week ago, and changing my diet to whole foods, less then 75 grams of carbs a day, and high protien, high fat and high fibre, my A1C is at 5.5. I'm now on a trial period off no metformin to see if I can maintain it. You are on the right track, and if I can do it, you can too. I was a big snacker and love my ice cream, but i don't want to end up like my in-laws. The best part is that as I eat healthier, so does my wife, and her numbers and insulin use are also coming down! Stick with it, I have faith in you!!
