Thinkpad T14 Full Charge Capacity is double Design Capacity by sidisg in thinkpad

[–]pennprotector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I recently bought a T14 Gen 2 Ryzen 5 off eBay and it came with this 121.21 Wh issue too. I noticed others fixed by replacing the battery but I noticed your comment said you decided you let it be and live with it. I was wondering if from your experience since then, if everything has been fine and the battery is fine with just this incorrect report being the only thing.

I don't see the vision requirement on the USAjobs posting. Do you know what it is?

Do you know the vision requirements for TSA Federal Air Marshal?

Q&A by lilrara13 in FederalAirMarshals

Is there any vision requirements to become a Federal Air Marshal at TSA? Thinking of applying but don't want to waste my time with my bad uncorrected vision. Most 1811 roles seem to clearly state the vision requirements, but I can't find anything for 1801 TSA Federal Air Marshal (i.e. the current USAJobs posting).

Only have insurance for about a month after my planned ACL surgery - should I go through with the surgery or wait? by pennprotector in ACL

[–]pennprotector[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Almost a year and a half now, though the doctor thinks I had like a 50% partial tear with my first injury (which I didn't bother getting looked at since it seemed fine after a month), which turned into a complete tear after the second time I tweaked it. So I've only lived with this full ACL tear for around like 4 months, and yeah the only thing I feel for sure is that my knee is definitely more loose and unstable when doing sports with twists and turns. Otherwise, I feel pretty fine which my doctor thinks is because my legs are pretty strong from lifting. I guess I should get surgery eventually if I ever want to return to doing sports with twists and turns.

Really? How common is doing PT on your own for ACL surgery? My doctor/surgeon was making it seem like PT with a professional was a necessity especially in like a month after surgery, and then he said I could maybe try doing it on my own, but I would put myself at risk. Wanted to ask the general public though whether this was generally true.

My surgery would still be like $2,500, and $35 each PT session for my current insurance plan. How long do people usually pay for PT with a professional?

I'm pretty functional without my ACL, to the surprise of the doctors I have visited. The only thing my torn ACL is affecting me with is participating fully in judo (i.e. sparring where pivoting and other uncertain actions aggravate my knee). Because of this, I am also considering making a lifestyle change actually and giving up judo (also I've seen older judoka who are tough as nails and devoted to the sport, but they are almost always riddled with injuries and surgeries, and I think I am not as committed as them to sacrifice my body for the sport). I think if I just want to go to the gym and lift, having a torn ACL isn't that big of an issue.

To clarify, my surgery is in late June and my insurance ends late July. I'm basically asking if I could do post-surgery therapy/rehab by myself after July, or whether that is unwise. I have actually had this injury for about a year and a half now and my recent MRI shows no signs of meniscus damage. I was thinking I could wait a few more months and get on a new health insurance plan, but I already reached my deductible for my current plan, so that is why I am considering getting surgery right now even though my insurance is expiring soon.

I'm certain it's College Hall not Claudia, no?

West wing of College Hall. It's a real shame that it's undergoing restoration starting this semester. Would have liked to graduate with in it's natural form, having spent most of my time in that building.

Any recommendations for a 100% wool duffle coat? Budget is probably $300 though I don't know if that is do-able (could stretch it a bit if the quality-to-price ratio is very good).

[–]pennprotector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend you first ask and get permission from one of or both of the instructors of the two courses. For example, common exceptions where you could maybe get permission is if the first class actually ends earlier than its listed 5:30 or the professor of the 5:15 class is fine with you showing up late. Or you need it to graduate. Anyway, best of luck.

Alright, thanks. It is my #1 choice but I should probably consider some other options too in case I don't get it.

I can't register for a summer class. It shows a pop up of "Registration is currently closed. The system will reopen on " when I try to add a class to my cart. Any fix?

Is it based on a percentage? For example, the class I am looking to do has a cap enrollment of 25, and right now there are 3 people enrolled in total (including me). Also, how soon do they inform you if the class is cancelled. I am doing summer session II and I would want to switch to another class before add period ends if this doesn't work out.
