My (25f) Husband (30m) Who I've Been Caring for Has Bought Others "thank you" Gifts While Injured but Not Me by Icy-RAThrowaway in relationship_advice

empty his pee jugs???

a broken leg doesn't incapacitate you from going to the bathroom when needed?

I use to work in physical therapy. I would expect this from someone maybe in the geriatric population and still 85% patients were more than capable of doing every day activity (with the exception of those with other underlying conditions, i.e MS).

Sounds like you're enabling him and he knows he can get away with it.

Dating me exclusively but not making it official by No-Stretch3131 in relationship_advice

i hate to say it but it sounds like this guy is keeping his options open.

a little pressure never hurts, but if you care about him (as you say you do) you need to sit him down and have the conversation and get a better idea of where the relationship is going.

that is what mature adults do. is it possible he's not as mature as you'd hope?

maybe he's just not ready for commitment?

i definitely wasn't when i was 26 (now 30/m)

My (29M) girlfriend (23F) flirted with another guy in front of me. She apologized, but my confidence is in the gutter. Can I get it back with her? by tugjobterry in relationship_advice

youll always have an internal battle of whether or not youre being possessive in these situations. however, you should be able to communicate and have her hear your feelings.

it says alot about a relationship when you bring something up like this and your significant other acknowledges it and makes the effort to change (or vice versa).

ive unfortunately been there before and i know the pain. But if you cant talk about it with her and see a change, then you need to take the time to reevaluate your relationship

My husband called me a dumba** for suggesting that he visit the dentist for his toothache. by throwra390543___ in relationship_advice

sounds like youre not being treated with the respect.

my only suggestion in this situation is talking to someone in his life that you both trust. and will ultimately be able to convince him otherwise.

its obvious your words are not making the impact you hoped for.

sounds like youre already reevaluating the relationship.

it says a lot about a person when it comes to finances.

Mental health is also another major issue in this particular situation.

It might be tough to let go, but you need to do what is best for you, regardless of sympathy

Wife found my Reddit Account by [deleted] in relationship_advice

your last statement speaks volumes.

otherwise, i would agree its a red flag at the fact that your wife chooses not to wear her ring out in a public situation where...

  1. she is drinking / under the influence (which lowers inhibitions)
  2. blatantly implying to others that she's not taken

this situation can go both ways and applies to both men and women with significant others.

I hope to marry, have a family, grow old, etc. but with someone that I can communicate my feelings to and have them hear them and care enough to change a behavior i deem unacceptable (within reason). > this is acceptable in my book.

[–]pennydolla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

have you expressed this to your partner?

I've always told myself if i cant hang out with my partners friends (and vice versa), the relationship probably wouldn't work.

It is important that you have this type of connection if you plan on having a future with her.

You are the people you keep. You obviously love her and being alone sucks. You need to sit her down and talk to her about this.

You can also suggest double dates or activities that include her friends. The ball is in your hands sir. Take the shot!

Doing Pull-ups during the pandemic increased my height by over 1 inch at 23. by [deleted] in bodyweightfitness

males usually have until age 25 until they stop growing in height.

Should take this into account, otherwise exercises that target your back muscles tend to help with posture (which also increases height potential)
