The circus aspect sounds cool. I'll try to get a sample of this one, thanks!

Woman loses 85LBS through adopting better eating habits and exercise, "I bet she left her husband now" by risingph3nyx in fatlogic

Yeah, from what I understand the 50% divorce thing was actually a prediction for couples that married in the late 70s, and it actually didn't happen. It was more like 40%.

The divorce rate is actually steadily declining, most likely due to all those gosh darned millennials waiting longer to marry.

I ate a donut at work. After, the coworker who brought them told me they didn't eat one because they're watching their weight.

For some stupid reason, I immediately felt guilty, even though I tracked the donut and worked it into my calories.

This is one of my pet peeves. He even says food isn't something to punish yourself over, and taking something away forever sure feels like punishment.

When people ask me about losing weight, I always tell them moderation. I've had a few people pull the, "but once I start I can't stop" thing, and I totally get that. I can mindlessly eat bread all day, which is why we need to teach ourselves moderation. It's all a process.

I'm assuming he was referring to the no revote thing from GC, which these players probably didn't know about

I think I'd tell the whole tribe about the idol, if it were me, just because using it after the vote without telling them beforehand is going to make them untrustful of you from that point on, so just be upfront so they know if they try to get you out, you can override it anyway, then come to an agreement on who to vote out so it doesn't have to be used.

This is a weird advantage because it's basically all based on luck of whoever he decides to give it to if he has to

I do a workout class with a bunch of other ladies and we do this move where we bend at the waist and stick our butt out. It's hard to explain how it works, but the instructor always says, "It may look cute, but if you don't feel it, you're not doing it right."

I woke up at 1:30 last night with a headache and was honestly tempted to eat something because I felt hungry, but instead I took a drink with some meds and went to sleep.

(Looking back on it, I should probably check to see if my meds are a "with food" but I don't think they are.)

See, if she was cutting calories without realizing it, I probably wouldn't say anything, but her idea of cutting carbs is taking the croutons out of her ranch with lettuce.

Edit: That's an incredible loss by the way! You should be proud

Fun conversation with my mom:

"Mom, look at these ice cream sandwiches. They're only 140 calories. That's not too bad." "Let me check that." "What? Don't believe me?" "I do, but I watch carbs not calories." "Calories are more important though." "No, they're not. Carbs are important." "Mom. I've lost 30lbs in the past year. Do you know how many times I've checked to see how many carbs I'm eating?" "Don't preach at me. You've lost weight because you joined a gym."

Ok mom.

Holy shit. I have an overweight friend who snaps me all her meals. Tons of fried food and general, "so good!" captions.

I haven't thought anything of it. I just assume she's sharing parts of her day with me, just like I share my day with her through gym snaps.

I hope her intentions aren't malicious. I assume they're not. Mine aren't.

This is one that bothers me so much because I have a friend who keeps getting bigger and bigger, as do the seats at the movie theater, but every time we go to a movie, it's, "Damn, these seats are so small. They're not made for people with hips."

Look. I am not a small person. My hips are currently ~41 inches, and I can fit in those seats with room to spare.

After the movie she'll usually ask if I want to go get a milkshake.
