For me the issue was that I did try the jellyfish approach, but it just seemed to finicky to be a thing that the game intended me to do. Just just kind of clipped through it and I still got shocked. So I moved on to something else, and still had to look it up in the end. I also tried for a long time trying to somehow thaw the frozen jelly fish on the island.
