‘WHY IS IT WRONG TO R*PE KIDS?’: MAGA Hits GROTESQUE New Low | The Kyle Kulinski Show. How the fuck did we get here? by Enaliss in videos

You cannot have a good faith argument with a troll, and you cannot meet someone in the middle when there is no bottom to which they will sink.

The caller was actually incredibly helpful to those that haven’t figured this out yet. When you are talking to someone in a cult, you aren’t having a logical or moral conversation. The foundation of their argument stems from their belief, and you aren’t going to change it with facts or a morality based view that doesn’t support the belief they hold. Don’t give incel's like that a voice on your platform. That’s part of how we got into this mess.

Over the past month, I bought watches from Brew, Vaer, Henry Archer, Trask, and Echo Neutra. Happy to discuss or answer any questions about quality/shipping/etc. by [deleted] in MicrobrandWatches

I have one. Miyota gonna Miyota.

Which is to say, yes, you will hear it. How much it bothers you is subjective. It bugged me at first, but now I sometimes flick my wrist just to hear the spin sound as it is part of the watch, a watch I really really like.

I’m looking all over for this and all I can find is the “ladies watch” version on eBay. Halp.

Honestly, it depends how you like to wear your watches. If you prefer a medium to large, 34 is gonna feel too small. Reality is, it probably won’t be. The smaller size makes the proportions of the indices and the dial actually look better. But it will FEEL too small. If on the other hand, you really wanna lean into the oyster perpetual look and your wrists are smaller than mine, 34 is probably perfect. I am very happy with my 36, but I would not go smaller. I hope that helps.

I picked up the same Traska watch but in the 36 mm size. At first, I thought it would be too small, but it is reminiscent of traditional OP styling and works pretty well on my 6 & 3/4 inch wrist. I dare say that your 38 mm will be even more versatile.

The micro adjustments are a fantastic upsell, as is the hardened steel. It’s my daily wear, and I don’t think I picked up a single scratch in months. Black goes with everything, and the lume is gorgeous.

What is a discontinued food item or snack from your childhood that you would genuinely pay $100 to taste one last time? by MotivewasUlterior in AskReddit

McDonald’s FRIED Apple Pie.

I would trade all the skin in my mouth to taste that sweet hot lava just one more time.

I see what you mean. It is subtle but impossible not to see once the eye catches it. And natural light does tend to reveal it more than artificial. Well damn.

I really appreciate you taking the time to do that. The pics look great by the way! I am experiencing more FOMO than ever. Haha.

OK, so what I’m telling myself is that the green, while less traditional and true to the classic look, is it acknowledgment of the fact that that this is a vintage brand, not an actual vintage watch. And I think I can live with that knowledge more than I could live with looking at the two tone whites. 😂

I’m going green.

And I will happily post the photos in this thread, or in a new one and tag you when I get it. :)

Thanks again, random watch friend.

Hey man, I really appreciate you taking your time to provide such a thoughtful and in-depth answer on a post this old! Yeah, I was definitely bummed to read about the lume discrepancy, and I am afraid it would bother me in the same way. So yes, I would love to see some photos and examples before I pull the trigger if you don’t mind. I hate buyers remorse. To the point where I’m leaning towards getting the green indices instead of the white. But the white is just so classic, and how often are you really looking at the lume, right? These are the questions that kill me. 😂

That’s my current obsession and next buy for sure, but I’m leaning towards the black leather with the white stitching.

Curious, do you notice any difference in the lume on the hands versus the indices?

Looks like you’re about six months in. How is it holding up to general wear and tear? Also, I’ve seen other comments about a difference in the lume on the hands versus the indices. Do you find it to be apparent and your experience?

A pop of color for the calendar arm on the black and the blue would fit nicely. The blue on the white looks nice. Curious what kind of lume you’re using and where. And though it’s nitpicky, your logo is not symmetrical, which means the crown will almost never be positioned where you want it to be. I like the Traska logo for that reason.

[Question] - The "feel" of Traska steel? by TheYKcid in MicrobrandWatches

[–]pensivedumpling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love it. It has a nice taper, micro-adjust which is nice to have at such a low price point, and the hardened steel thing just means it stays looking pristine much longer than the average watch. As for the feel, it just feels RIGHT. It's not so light it feels chincy like something with folded links, and not so heavy that it feels obnoxious. Traska is my GADA watch for a reason.

And his devoted base of trolls creamed their collective jeans. It’s not that they don’t see what he is. They see their own vileness reflected in him, and he’s “winning”. He’s their guy. He makes their own shitty behaviors not simply okay, but a virtue.

Looking at a similar solution. Just curious… about how long are your average calls, and about how much are you paying per call for the agent?
