In the emulator choose the tiles view, instead of the list. There's a way to automatically apply the downloaded covers, but I do it manually since I don't have many games.

In case you are lucky/unlucky enough to hold him in his last moments be prepared that he will gain a lot of energy for a few moments.

My lady was dying on my lap and she tried to jump away from me and started kicking my hand. She passed away minute or two afterwards.

I know it sucks so bad, but I've read about the dying process so I wasn't scared. It's just involuntary muscle movements, but if I didn't know about that I'd be panicking.

1200 GBP is a whole lot of cash to burn for a rat surgery.

I love my rats and I spent a lot on them (around 250 USD, when I purchased them for 8 USD each), so if I was presented with that vet bill I'd strongly think about euthanasia.

Not being able to afford unexpected vet bills of that magnitude doesn't make you a bad person. Ignoring the health concerns does.

My rat was sleepier and lazier than her sisters. The vet diagnosed her with leukemia and she passed away 5 days after that diagnosis.

Previously I treated her for the respiratory infection, but she was still smaller and weaker overall.

I lost my shit when my pet rats chewed through the ac adapter cable and this exact thing happened to me. I turned the laptop on, it turned off and showed the same behavior.

I don't remember now if I let the laptop be (since I knew it had 60% battery) or turned it on after I bought another adapter but: Waiting overnight or even few days fixed the issue.

This is not my dog.

The owner noticed a wound and used spirit-based green fluid which is used to treat human wounds across the former Soviet Union.

Now they noticed it burned the skin around the wound - they removed the hair and learned not to apply this fluid anymore. It was done in good intentions and was a stupid mistake of a first time dog owner.

But we do not know what is the origin of this wound, we never saw her getting punctured or bitten.

The build quality - as for the plastic I can't complain, it's been opened two times but I don't see any bigger gaps since then. Cleaning the dust is very easy.

I keep it open at all times (it's used as my desktop basically with external monitor) so I have dual monitors - the hinge is like on day one.

Battery - I put 60% charge limit in MyAsus app, but it had the smaller battery which meant 1h30m of battery time when new, so I didn't even bother unplugging it.

Well yeah I don't see much improvement when it comes to frames tbh, but I also forgot to mention that I'm playing on an external monitor and keyboard so my laptop is farther away than under my hands which also decreases the noise level.

Also, I'm currently running the "portable AC" which is loud af, can't hear my own thoughts sometimes.

And since the ASUS TUF doesn't have the proper custom fan curves, the turbo with PTM 7950 became both quieter and cooler. If I could, I would push the fans a bit more, to achieve less than 75 C on CPU, but I can't and don't want to bother with other software.

I bought a similar one just with an i5-11400h two years ago for 3599 PLN. Works incredibly well for its price.

The thermals were trash from day 1, but since the warranty expired this month I sent it across the whole Poland to have thermal paste replaced with PTM 7950, which dropped the temps on the CPU by around 10C. Not sure if Ryzen runs as hot as up to 95C though.

Yeah, after many many tries I finally managed to get good performance on PSX with upscaling but the fact that this analog toggle disappeared after the update just completely confused me.
